Decisions...decisions...decisions...
So how should i hug her? should i just waist her? or go over? or the combination?

WARNING- Long blogs (by wesley) may bore you to death!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to start? There's just so much to say! Starting with the more superficial stuff....
This past week during my friend's (actually my sister's friend, but i know her, so i wont bother to say my sister's friend every time i mention her) visit to Canada, we decided to take her around downtown a little bit, and just show her around. So, during this time...I had my first time up the CN tower, and my first time eating at their restaurant up there. I dont think i knew how to appreciate their cold potato soup thing very well, perhaps it was too high class for me, i dont know, but i didnt like it much. The main course...the chicken, and the dessert, some ice cream stuff...was good though. There was a very nice view indeed... Had some of course. Went to the glass floor, kinda scary..i still regret not pushing my sister into the glass floor though. Haha...no im not that mean, but then she would have something to talk about! and so would I! Talking about all the stuff i didn't do isnt all that fun..
Aside from downtown, I dont think i did all that much with my friend...took her to the mall, walked around in the park..had some awkward silent times and stuff, because im just soo boring. aah. sorry. anyways...was nice to see an old friend... She left on friday afternoon to go work at her camp.
Moving on...I had an awesome weekend! Haha...full of sports and...people stuff! Saturday morning woke up at like 7:45 because i had to get up nice and early and go and play soccer! Had a good time at Thomson Memorial Park, playing soccer with another soccer team from some church...I think this is like some league that is like CCSA but soccer...so it could potentially be called CCSA as well...but it's soccer. Had missed playing soccer for a bit, a little out of shape, but some regular exercise during the week should do it. After the hour and a half of the awesome soccer game, I went to the church to go help out with the church's community BBQ.
Yay, community outreach! It was pretty cool seeing quite a number of people to just stop by. Whether it was for the fun, for the 10 cent hotdogs, or for the free umbrellas, or even to sign up for the kids camp itself, it was nice seeing so many different kinds of people to just stop by and look around or do whatever they did. Despite there only being two people that had signed up for the kids camp, i still thought it was nice to see all these people come by and do whatever they did. Kind of hoping that a lot of them might just come back and sign up or something...
As this BBQ came to an end, after the cleanup, I headed over to Karina's for a birthday party...(i think thats what they're called....) Lots of fun... made water balloons for a good while...walked to the park and had the water balloons dissapear in like 1 minute. TOo bad those balloons died so fast.........so we just played other games, still plenty fun.. Had some good food, good times talking, eating bubbles, just hanging out...whatever.... Good times... whether it was eating the bubbles, playing human-net volleyball, water games, the time spent talking, watching random videos, playing Albert's fun games, or whatever... I'll miss those times.
On Sunday ETCBC Lumacles, played against the TJCAC (i think that's right..) Zoo COM. Tons of fun, a very nice day with lots of spirited young people. Came together for a fun game of softball...yay! I hope that some people will realize that theres more to softball than just....softball....and winning... Oh well, more good times. =) So, headed to Midland-Sheppard afterwards...some good food...and good talks. haha... who would ever think to talk about hugs? who knows...oh well. This should be a hot topic for a bit... Aah, gotta love ETCBC.

So today, at 12, my family actually had a meeting to discuss all our schedules to figure out stuff. We are actually quite the busy! With so much of our weeks filled up at times, it seems hard to fit stuff in sometimes... hoping to not lose that time with God. So many decisions to make...Originally, we had a church's retreat thing to go to, from saturday-monday. My mom was nice enough to let us kids not have to go..aah feel kinda bad..(because she may still have to pay the registration fee).. I love my softball team and my church too much! I really didn't wanna be gone for the team's first games...so...made that decision. As well, i should decide soon whether im going to this summer sojourn or not...At the same time, a major decision i suppose is my dad's plan on what he will be doing. He wants to go and study and become a doctor of miseology (this is a guess at it's spelling) and be able to teach people to be missionaries. This would be like a two year thing spent in the states...The other option that just opened up for him is to stay in Toronto and open up a ... something center...(it would be a thing for the mission board that he works with). So now he has to decide on what to do, and it seems that someone like me CANT really help him at this point in time. Just prayin that God will show him what he wants him to do...lots of major decisions going on sort-of...hoping it all works out according to HIS plan. Hoping that we're makin the right decisions...

Going back to the starting days of this blog, and back a little after my birthday, I had set some goals for myself. Some of them being
-Being a little more open
-Being more outgoing
-Growing closer to God
Now that I look back to the time ever since ive been 16...wow, theres been so much change in me. Things are so different...with just about everything mentioned above being changed, I feel more happy, and comfortable to just be whoever I am. Now im pretty outgoing and open.. but is this new 'me' a good thing? I hope people can understand me a bit better...to actually know some of my intentions...rather than just suppose things...
As for God, i think things have definitely changed in terms of my relationship with Him. I still have to strive and try and keep him in the center of my life at times, but He is definitely the most awesome God. Ive learned to love to talk to God, and spend time with Him. Still wondering where this inspiration and motivation comes from... Now Im just hoping i can just be his servant and that he'll be able to work through me.
Throughout all this, I think I've learned to love ETCBC. Wow, i love this church so much, wouldnt have any other. All the encouraging brother's and sister's in christ to help guide and help me along the way. very thankful. I can really see that God's plans are always the best. Back in May 2004 when i first came up, I expected to go back down to Costa Rica. God had a change of plans for me then, and I ended up staying in Canada...until now. At first I thought it was pretty awful, just leaving everything behind and not being able to say bye, or get my stuff or whatnot...but now I can't imagine what would happen if I hadn't stayed up here.
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Like this verse says here...we as mankind always have so many plans...but its always His purpose that will prevail. We just have to trust in Him..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any train of thought that i might've had earlier is now gone, as i am slowly dozing off. So...the blog for today ends. =) And don't say i didnt warn you that it was gonna be long...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
oh, the hugging thing was a topic from eating at midland-sheppard. so if you didnt get the first lines...it was more of an inside joke. sorry for those of you that dont get it. =(
